The school, the first of its kind in East Delhi, was established on the 5th of August 1981 with the joint efforts of the Premier “Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee” and the late social worker S. Raghbir Singh.

It was established under the leadership of its main founder, Dr. Prem, was an effort and attempt to promote and improve progressive education with the aim of inculcating human values and universal brotherhood, believing in a personal development that was complete in all its manifestations: physical, creative, cultural and spiritual.

The initial strength of only 250 students and a handful of faculty members, numbering more than 3,800 students and 152 members.

Procedure For Withdrawal

  1. Instead, clear notice of a month or a school fee must be given when a student is withdrawn. The bus will not be allowed to park during the session.
  2. In case of withdrawal, the transfer certificate and the warning money will be given when the school fees are settled.
  3. The precautionary money will generally not be adjusted against other accounts receivable.
  4. In the event that a student fails to attend school without informing authorities, the parent/guardian must pay all school fees until the information is received. In some cases, this may amount to a full session fee.
  5. A student’s name may be crossed off the roster if they are absent for five consecutive business days without prior permission. Readmission may be granted in such cases on the basis of the merits of the case upon payment of the admission fee, which cannot be waived under any circumstances.
